Hair tutorial for loose beachy curls

The weather is amazing today! Been sitting outdoors in my super pretty silver bikini almost all day ^^ Since the weather was great I wasn't wearing much makeup... aaand I look pissed because it was sooo bright! Too bad I don't like hanging out at the beach because I'm in love with this bikini! ♥ (I've actually said I would never post any bikini pics on my blog [or anywhere else on the internet], but it's just a bikini, and a pretty one! so whatever, plus it looks awesome with my beachy hair).

Sooo I actually did make the tutorial for loose beachy curls today, believe it or not! It's not very good... at all... LOL but I hope you still understand how to make the curls! :D Hahaha wtf my hand looks huge in the still frame! Funny :P

video

Also, most people use some catchy pop/electro pop song in the background, but I don't listen to that kind of music, so yeah... :D I sound so slow because I only got 4-5 hours of sleep last night (yes, I'll blame it on that), so just ignore it.

Pink shorts and a possibly upcoming hair tutorial

I sorta have a cold today, which sucks because it's summer! It also sucks that it's so windy today because it'd be such a sunny and warm day otherwise. :/ but yeah anyway... Didn't feel like using a lot of accessories today (although I was wearing a scarf as a hair accessory at first, buuut I decided it looked too 80s with this outfit).

Yesterday before I fell asleep I thought about how much I wanted a pair of pink shorts (I want light purple ones too... there are a looot of colorful shorts in the shops this summer), and I realized we had a pair of old pink pants lying around. This morning I decided to cut them into a pair of shorts, mwahahah! I'm very happy with the results :) although I hate that there are no back pockets. Ok, this is weird and feels like a "look at my ass"-picture, but obviously I'm showing off the shorts, hahaha:

Okay so I got a comment about showing you guys how I curl my hair, and I might make a video about that tomorrow! Haven't decided whether I should make it in English or Swedish though, because the comment was in Swedish (and I might just suck at explaining it in English). So if no one wants it in English I'll just make it in Swedish.

Also, I need a baby pink lipstick, but I haven't found any good ones :( I'm using two different ones now to get the right color, but I want the perfect color in one! I do love lipsticks from IsaDora, but if there's something better that isn't too expensive and that I can get here in Sweden I want to try that one! :'D

Chajnik and rhubarb pie

Hej hej! Today I went to the mall with Lina but didn't buy anything. It was really windy, and I was wearing a dress which wasn't the best idea I've had, but it's okay... So this is my outfit for today:

Dress: H&M
Jacket: ASOS
Shoes: DinSko
Purse: My mom's old..?
Necklace: Snö of Sweden

When I got home I notice my mom had "forced" my dad to make a rhubarb pie, just because it's mother's day today! So we just ate that, sooo good :) She wanted me to bake buuuut I was at the mall so I couldn't, lol. Next time though...

Ok, this is not the pie we ate, but this is what it looks like for those of you who don't know (I don't know if people eat this in other countries?):

Oh and Lina and I also talked about the Russian words we remembered that our married and extremely busy friend Z taught us while in high school. I have no idea how to spell this, but "malesh" (???) and "chajnik" were two of the words. :P

White and silver

Rainy again, so I haven't done much... just a lazy Saturday... but I did decide to do my hair and makeup! My hair does feel a bit healthier after the homemade treatment - the eggs worked great for shiny hair :)

I did some loose curls and I'm in love with this hair style! Too bad it's not good for the hair :/ As for makeup I did a bit of a smokey eye, but with gray instead of black, which makes my eyes look green-ish gray.

And here's today's outfit; my brother said I looked like an angel, aww ♥ :

So for the homemade hair treatments:
For nourishment: Olive oil! Avocado and bananas work great too I've heard, but I haven't tried that yet... For best results, put a plastic bag over your hair and leave it in for as long as you can. Some people might look like they've been swimming in a pool of fat if they don't put shampoo in their hair before washing the olive oil out.
For shine: Eggs and milk, 2 eggs and 1-2 table spoons of milk will do. Leave it in for at least 15min.

If you know of any other hair treatment, please tell me about it ^^

~☆~

Hmm for some reason my followers are "missing" (at least for me, it's all blank). What's wrong with blogger this time? x_x

Hair treatment: 2

I said I would show you outfit pics and stuff yesterday, which I never did... so here they are! I love blue clothes ☆

and here's a reversed closeup :)

Today I decided to try another homemade hair treatment for damaged hair, consisting of 2 eggs, 2 table spoons of milk and 6 table spoons olive oil! Apparantly eggs and milk makes your hair look shiny while olive oil strengthens it. I know I know, it sounds like I used a lot, but I have long hair so it's needed! I still have it in, walking around with a plastic bag over my head - I must look so weird x)

I was in the kitchen preparing the treatment when my dad asked me what I was doing. I told him and he went "again?", and the look on his face when he saw I was using eggs... xD Oh the things girls do...

Okay, I'm gonna go wash my hair now! Hope there will be a difference!

The world through pink glasses

Been on my balcony pretty much all day because the weather is lovely ♥

I was gonna make a videoblog, but I couldn't think of anything interesting to talk about, so I just ended up taking a picture instead - with my awesome heartshaped pink sunglasses! I don't use sunglasses much because I don't really think I look good in them, but since I read about eye cancer (caused by too much sun, especially dangerous if you have a light eye color) I felt the need to use them more, lol.

I'll blog later because I took some outfit and makeup pics as well.

My natural hair color

I find it funny how some girls who aren't really blonde pretend they are. Like for instance they write "this is my real hair color" and they put a picture of obviously bleached hair (it's very easy to tell when the blonde is orange-ish yellow, sorta like a chicken, lol). I think you should be proud of your natural self - doesn't mean you can't change the way you look, and therefore I'm going to show you my real hair color.

Here it is (minus the colored brown parts that used to be black):

I love how people always think my hair is naturally platinum blonde. That must mean my hair looks good, right? :D Okay as you can tell from the picture above (it's from when I went to junior high), my hair is kinda light blonde anyway. Aww I love how my hair was back then, before I killed it with hairdye and too much heat from straightening/curling.

Do you keep your hair natural?

Life's better with music ♫

Hey guys! :) The weather was so weird today, really sunny, but also windy, I'm not sure if it was warm or cold! So hard to dress for that kind of weather :( lol. But anyway, I met David and I forced him to play the guitar for me! ♥ He also taught me a bit how to play, but yeah... I'll probably forget soon! haha But it's sooo nice just sitting in the sun with a guitar. Oh and 4 little kids came up to us, one offered me half a (have to look this word up) acorn! So cute xD Then they wanted David to play them a song, but David was too shy. Too bad I didn't take any photos.

Here's a picture from Björkliden (north of Sweden) just because:

I feel like trying a new makeup style.. We'll see if I'll do that tomorrow! If the weather is not too nice, because if it's hot and sunny I'll be outdoors the whole day! So we'll see... :) Really wanna try some eyeshadows though! Plus this blog needs to be more entertaining, so I'll tryyyy.

Oh and only two weeks now until I'm going to Denmark! Yay ~♥

Religion and stuff..

TJA! (<- the cool way of saying "hey" in Swedish) So today I didn't really do much, except I went for a walk with Lina by the lake - super nice! :) Although lots of old men flirted with us, which wasn't very nice... But I love walking there in summer! It's one of the best places in this city.

Here's today's egoness (yeah I'm doing the "whaat..?"-face, and I hate how my eyes look brown...):

And here's a picture from the walk, click for bigger pic (no idea why you'd want that, but just in case I'm letting you know that that is possible!):

So I keep getting harrassed by people trying to force their religion on me! I don't know if they think they're gonna succeed with their mission to make me religious, because that's never going to happen! Of course I accept people who are, but they should also accept the fact that I'm not. I don't care if you believe I will go to hell when I die because I never pray or go to church - I don't even believe in hell!!

It's like if I would make up my own religion and try to force others to believe in it! Tell them they would suffer for an eternity after death if they didn't believe in what I told them to believe in! Would you like that, you overly religious people?? No, didn't think so.

Japan talk

Yokohama, 2010
Today I went to my old high school to listen to this year's Japanese students who went to Japan in March! It was interesting to see what they did and saw, and what their opinions were. They also visited Komazawa university and met the awesome teacher there! - he was holding a sign saying "ABBA Gilla" (ABBA, like) when we were there! lol

They also went to the Ramen museum in Shin-Yokohama which we went to - the food is soooo good there! Other than that they didn't really do the same things as we did, so it was interesting to hear about :) Fun thing was, both of us noticed the lack of trash cans in Japan - even though it's so clean there!

So after their presentation I went for "fika" (to a café) with my friends from my old Japanese class, and with a guy who's been studying in Japan + our teacher! It was nice and we decided to meet again :)
