How to stay beautiful

Everyone's beautiful in their own way, but it does take some effort to stay beautiful, no matter how many of how few products you use. Here are some tips to help you along the way:

Skin:
Your skin is probably the most important thing to take care of in order to look young and healthy. Remember always to use lotions and/or face masks to avoid dry skin, and never go tanning without sunblock/sunscreen.

Drink a lot of water, eat healthy and get a lot of sleep. It will make your skin glow ♥

If you love taking long baths, remember that warm water makes your skin dry. Use lots of oils in the water, and if you don't have any at home, try olive oil - it's just as good!

Having problems with zits and blemishes? Try putting a bit of lemon juice mixed with some water on that area (it will sting though) to reduce the swelling and make all the redness disappear over night.

Remember to always remove your makeup before going to bed, no matter how tired you are. Not only will it dry your skin, give you blemishes, etc. you can also get mites on your lashline (making your skin irritated and might result in loss of lashes)!
Hands & Nails:
Hands are what give our age away. Always use lotions to prevent your skin from getting dry and pre- age. Also always carry a nail file with you just in case.

Is your nail polish starting to get old and dry? Pour just a little bit of nail polish remover into the nailpolish and shake the bottle. Your old nail polish will be just as good as new!

Always use gloves when doing the dishes or cleaning the bathroom, etc. to protect your skin from all the chemicals. Use lotion when finished.

Got a problem with yellow and miscolored nails? Lemon does the trick!

Lips:
Dry lips? Brush your lips with a soft tooth brush morning and evening to get rid of dry skin and increase the blood flow to the lips. Apply lip balm afterwards.

As most girls know, lipgloss makes your lips look fuller, and if you use a light color all over your lips and put little bit darker color in the centre, it will help even more with the fullness!

If there's almost nothing left of your favorite lipsticks - mix them together! Get the last lipstick out with a knife (or whatever object you prefer to use), put it in a bottle and microwave the two lipsticks together. Pour back into a lipstick container, creating a whole new color!

If you have thin lips and want them to look fuller, avoid dark lipsticks. If you, on the other hand, have full lips and want them smaller, instead of using lipliner right outside the contours of your lips, use it inside.

Eyes:
Always use eyelash curler to open up your eyes and make your lashes look curled and pretty.

A very light (preferably white) eyeshadow under your eyebrow opens up your eyes and saves you from looking tired.

If you want to make your eyes look bigger, only use eyeshadow in bright colors, and no more than two different ones.

When you trim your eyebrows it will open up your eyes and make them appear bigger.

Hair:
Regular shampoo bleaches your dyed hair and products that really protects your colored hair might be expensive. Try using baby shampoo, it will clean your hair but won't bleach it.

Haven't washed your hair today - and it's noticeable? Don't have time to wash it? Pour a bit of flour in your hair and comb it, which will make it look newly washed and you won't have to worry about it until you get home again and have time to wash it.

If you have curly hair it easily gets dry and frizzy. Apply a soft hair mousse into your wet hair after a shower, which will help intensify your curls.

Feet:
There seem to be a lot of people who hate feet, but if you just take care of them, they're not as gross anymore, lol. Try footbaths at least once a week, scrub your feet afterwards and dry them with a towel. File your feet and don't forget the lotion. Keep your toe nails short and use nail polish (to match your finger nails).

In summer your feet tend to be swollen when you've been walking a long time. It feels tempting to take a cold footbath, but use warm water instead to open your vains even more. This way your feet will go back to normal quicker (oh and don't forget to rest).

Massage lotion onto your feet before going to bed everyday to keep them smooth and nice looking.

I hope that was helpful for some of you! :) I'd love to hear your beauty tips as well!
