Pineapple cupcakes :3

So today I decided to bake pineapple cupcakes! They looked better in my mind, but I'm still happy with them, haha. They're really good, even my brother who hates pineapple liked them! :) Well they're vanilla cupcakes with pineapple frosting and pieces of pineapple on top. I do like my raspberry cupcakes better though...
Hmm.. they taste better than they look, but yeah, they still look awesome ;D

Shopping and... HAHA!

Today I went to the mall with Lina! :) We went to the place where Alex and I always take photos, haha (I forced her, yessss)! The jacket I'm wearing isn't new.. or well... for me it is. I found it in the basement. It's actually my mom's uncle's old jacket! haha I changed it a bit so that it would fit me, because jackets like that are trendy now ;) and it wasn't too cold, 3 degrees C here today! yay...

Right now I'm watching K1 on TV :) It's the only sport I like watching, haha.. Sometimes it needs more action though! Tomorrow I'll go to the mall again, with Lina and Zlata. Haven't seen her in so long! I want the snow to go away so I can use high heels...

Sorry for putting you out there, whoever you are, but this was hilarious, I just have to share it! xD
... Oh reeeaaaally?

(Also, so that no one will complain, I have to say that I have absolutely nothing against homosexuals, just that the situation was so weird and funny xD)

What I think of Swedes

Look at my awesome bling necklace!
There was a woman on TV with the coolest shoes ever (high heels, of course)! They were silver with lots of bling and glitter, and I died a bit. I want those shoes!! One day...
Okay so, I suppose I can write a bit about what Swedes think of themselves, although it'll just be my opinion. To me, Swedes are... well one of the friendliest people, in general. I know some people from countries in the south think we seem cold and we don't smile all the time, but we're really damn friendly!

People who know me know that I don't really like Swedes even though I think we're nice people. It's because of the attitude of the younger people, lol. They're horrible, sooo prejudiced and mean to everyone that's different (not everyone's like that, of course). I hate it. Hate that they're like that. I don't date many Swedes because I don't like the way they approach girls, or their attitude. Sorry Swedish guys - you're still tall and handsome... in general :)

Sweden is a beautiful country with all our traditional red wooden houses, and all the nature. Of course there are modern buildings too, but... not really. Not where I live. Västerås, 133 000 people, yet the 6th or 7th biggest city in all of Sweden... well that says a lot.
Oh and the very north of Sweden, it's breathtaking! I love it there! All the mountains, clear blue water, fresh air... Ah, wonderful ♥ If it weren't for their accent (haha jk, sorry!) and the cold weather.. and the fact that there's nothing there besides nature, I could sooo live there!

Anyway, here we have something called "jantelagen" which is basically you can't think anything of yourself. It's very true. People who stand out are not liked. People that are different or very successful will be disliked for just those reasons. I think that's one of the reasons a lot of Swedes want to move abroad. You can't really be yourself here, for some reason.. It's like you have to choose between being liked and being yourself.

Also, Swedes don't know their own language. Their grammar is horrible and they can't spell simple words. I'm a grammar nazi (haha beware!) so I really really really hate that! Even in movies or commercials they can't use proper Swedish! AAAAAARRRGHHHHHHH!!!

Dispite all that, I'm proud to be Swedish and I love my country. Even if I do end up in a different country in the future, I'll make sure to visit quite often. Can't miss out on Swedish summer, it's the best! and I've spent my summers in a looot of countries... still nothing beats Swedish summer :)

Hmm I suppose that's all... Any questions about Swedes or Sweden? - ask!

I used to be... a brunette...?!

Haha so I went on mom's old computer to look for some pictures from vacations and stuff, and I found a really old picture of me with brown hair! Omg omg! xD It's from when I was 13 or so... When I was 12 I dyed parts of my hair black (which later faded to brown) and I also dyed all my hair some weird brown color! I only had my hair like this for a while though, been blonde ever since, and I so prefer myself as blonde, hah.
My face almost looks the same as back then....

Oh and while I was looking at old pictures, I rediscovered the awesomeness of some of the bands I like/d... like In Flames! I remember the first song I heard by them was Free Fall, and some guy named Erik from... either Gothenburg or Malmö sent it to me. I was 12 or 13. I used to love their song Evil in a closet (David knows this, haha), aww... :)
For those of you who don't know, In Flames is a Swedish melodic death metal band. Apparantly they will release a new album in May/June... will be interesting.

I thought I would be a good blogger and write the "what Swedes think of other Swedes"-post today. We will see if I have time to do it later this evening. Either that of the other stereotypes-post.

And here's some randomness I wrote this morning but never posted:
I was just on the phone with my dad, discussing the weather (how Swedish of us! lol), and this morning it was -25 C!!! The sun is shining though and it's snowing, it looks like glitter falling from the sky... ^^ They say the ice here haven't been this thick since 1987 and these last winters have been the coldest in over 100 years! Where's this global warming? ._.

I was watching a show about plastic surgery (the only "interesting" on TV this early in the morning) and there was this transsexual man getting a boob-job. The funny thing was, on the "before"-picture you could see everything, but on the "after"-picture, they blurred his/her breasts! xD
Our new livingroom floor (and ceiling)! Finally... Hmm this room looks much smaller than it is.

We could be victorious ♫

First, some camwhoring:
I haven't been using circle lenses lately... mostly because I think I look better without them xD Oh and no, I didn't dye parts of my hair brown, it's not permanent :) I suppose it would look better if I straightened all of my hair, but I'm too lazy to do that today, haha. But if you cover the blonde hair on the first pic you can sorta see what I would look like as a brunette! Ah I dunno what's with the graduation cap again, I was wearing it when making a video for someone.. then I just kept it on, lol.

Anyway, I was thinking I'd write the last "What Swedes think of YOU"-post later on today. I just need to talk to a couple of Swedes to get their opinion. Also, someone messaged me asking for a post about what Swedes think of themselves, hah... that could be fun. I guess I'd just write my own opinions though, instead of asking other Swedes what they think of their own people. I already wrote some under the "Swedish Stereotypes"-post, but yeah...

I need to write an e-mail now and study a bit. Have a good rest of the day~☆

One more week of February...

I know I said I would never blog about Gal secrets again, but I read it this morning and noticed I got my first nice secret! Yay xD Just want to thank whoever wrote that :)

Today's outfit (ah yeah I can't wait until spring! I hate winter!!):
Classical mirror pics since I'm home alone... Except for the guys renovating the livingroom downstairs (would we weird if I asked them to photograph me, haha). They are actually nice compared to how they usually are! These guys introduced themselves and stuff :)

Okay so, I've gotten e-mails from people complaining about my "What Swedes think of YOU"-posts. One even called my blog racist, hahaha... He obviously didn't read the "I speak of people in general and this is not supposed to be taken too seriously, so take no offense! ... this is supposed to be funny and a bit "extreme", and it's not meant to offend anyone."-part. Other people have said I'm ruining their country's reputation and people won't want to visit anymore. ... Seriously? Well it's kinda flattering they'd think my readers would base all their opinions on the stuff I write on my blog, and that I would be that influential. I'm sure my readers are smart enough to read the whole part and understand that I wrote about stereotypes.
So I've gotten some critique for those posts,  but I get way more positive response, so I'm going to write the 3rd and last part! I haven't decided on all countries to write about, but I was thinking; Ireland, Holland, China, Canada, and perhaps S. Korea. What do you think?

My favorite band ever

Since I'm bored and still have a headache, I thought I would share my favorite music with you! The best band in the world (in my opinion, of course) is the Swedish band The Perishers (as much as I love Anberlin, I just can't helpt but to love The Perishers slightly more). I mean even though you don't really listen to this kind of music, you can't not like them! All their songs have a meaning and there's always something in the lyrics you can relate to, in every single song. But yeah, they're especially good to listen to when you're having your "emo-moments" because most of their songs are a bit sad...

I've been listening to them for years now and probably for years to come. Hopefully I'll get to see them live someday! I mean really, I'm Swedish, they're Swedish... yeah... they're not that famous here though. Anyway, hope you enjoy their music as much as I do! :)

Movie day

Hey people! Ah I'm feeling much better today (still not completely well, I have a headache, blablabla) and I'm going over to Lina's to watch movies and stuff! Yay! I haven't met friends in so long because of school and me being sick, etc.  Don't worry, I don't have a cold so I can meet people without them getting sick too! Ah I looked at pictures from last year's graduation, so I decided to take some webcam pics with my graduation cap on! I look like a police woman or something, lol
I need to make a new video blog soon, it's been a while!

Anyway I've been going to bed too late for being sick... but it's okay, I have my reasons :) I should get some lunch now and then get ready to meet Lina. Hopefully we'll be able to visit Z's and her husband's apartment soon! Should be interesting...

My sister was watching Låt den rätte komma in (Let the right one in) and I just realize it must look super weird for English speaking people when it said "BAD" on a building! haha Bad is short for badhus which means swimming hall, but I'm sure they translated that in the movie anyway. Okay I need to put on some more clothes now, it's damn cold today! Where's spring?? I need it!! Ah well, at least it's sunny...

Hope you all have a lovely day!~☆

Update:
Lina and I watched the movie "I rymden finns inga känslor" (There are no feelings in space), which is about a boy with asperger syndrome named Simon, who lives with his brother Sam and decides to find a new girlfriend for him after a bad breakup. The movie is great! Really good actors (the brother is so cute, haha) and it's funny too! Simon is played by a Skarsgård-boy, and his character is so annoying but totally adorable at the same time. I really recommend this movie! :)

I'm sick, I need ice cream!

I loved the pink color of my nail polish, but it started to look a bit boring, so I painted leopard dots with white and black on them! It looks awesome irl, but yeah...
Oh and they say that if your ring finger is longer than your index finger, you have a more masculine brain (like a more masculine way of thinking) and if the index finger is longer, you have a more feminine way of thinking. Well that must mean I'm a bit manly then, lol. Although they also say that a longer ring finger = successful in life. Oh yes.

I'm sick btw, that's why there are no ego pics... but do not fear - I'll get well soon and post pics like always xD Ah I think I need ice cream, it's good when your throat hurts and you have a fever, right?? hehehe
